I don't have any pictures for this post, I have not been great at taking pictures lately. I think that I need to keep my camera always ready. I will start with the first thing in my title. Bike crash!!! On monday (last week). Jack came home from school and told me that his mom had been in a horrible bike accident. She was riding her bike, Like she always does about 10 miles everyday, and hit something slippery. ( It was pretty cold that day). Well she had a pretty bad head injury and a worse shoulder injury . She went to the Dr.'s and they stitched up her head wounds and took some x-rays of her shoulder. It was in pretty bad shape. So she went to the hospital and had to wait a long time before they would operate. I think the bad thing of that was that she was in so much pain and they couldn't give her anything for it. Surgery went well and she came home from the hospital late tuesday. She has a long road of recovery ahead.
OK!!! Now for the mud. My kids have been into making mud pies. I have found mud everywhere, Yes I do wish I had a picture for this one. It is all over Jack's truck , all their clothes and shoes. Oh yes of course it has been drugged into my home day after day. I am ready to pour cement everywhere!!!!!!
Last but not least. This weekend jack decided he wanted to take out kids shooting. This is the first time and it was a lot of fun. I was a nervous wreck. I put the fear in them though. They were really good. Natasha did not do it though. she got too scared. I think she is turning into a girly girl. she used to be my little tom boy, But who can blame her to be scared of a gun. I am glad she is. I think maybe I just put too much fear into them. It was fun and they boys want to go again.

I am sorry to hear about Jill. I hope she will recover quickly. Have fun cleaning up mud. It never ends!
Wow! I'm glad your mom is ok. How scary! I hate this time of year because of all the stinkin' mud! My kids have come in the house before with NO pants or shoes on because they got stuck in the mud in the cornfield behind our house. We still haven't found the pants & a pair of boots! Yuck! Shooting guns is fun! Our boys all get a BB gun when they turn 10 & they've had a lot of fun with it. Maybe Emi will get a pink one someday. Good to hear about your family. I need to update so bad!
I think I'm going to actually suggest the mud pied idea. Of course it can't be done on Todd's cement (that's his pride and joy) but I could definitly donate some pie tins for the occassion. Thanks for the idea...I think.
